Fall 2024 Newsletter:

Hello Sisters,

Welcome back! I hope you enjoyed all that Summer had to offer, including the hot weather and making memories whether here or traveling. While I am excited for Autumn as I have always loved the changing of the leaves, the cool crisp air, and of course, apple cider, I will miss the BBQs, visits to the beach, baseball games, and firework displays that are characteristics of Cleveland fun.

Special thanks to all the board members and chairs who have worked hard to put together a calendar I’m sure you will enjoy. Take a peek - you will notice that we have confirmed most dates and locations for the entire year already! Let’s start the year strong by coming together to strengthen our bonds of friendship and sisterhood. I look forward to seeing you at many of the fun events we have planned.

In keeping with our affinity with all things “three,” here are three quick, major announcements from Convention 2024. First, the Purpose of alumnae chapters was amended to focus on lifetime membership opportunities while language concerning collegiate chapter support was removed. Second, alumnae chapters can now invite and initiate eligible women into membership independent of a collegiate chapter initiation or Convention events. Last, national dues were increased to $33 for 2024-25.

Please review the financial update for more explanation . Please know that we are still reviewing how these changes will affect our chapter and will be having discussions during our upcoming meetings. Your input is encouraged and welcomed as we move forward.

Join us at one of our events throughout the year! I am excited about the year ahead as our Chapter continues to grow and develop. I hope to see you soon!
